Our outstanding teachers are dedicated to helping each child grow spiritually and academically. Our Hebrew School has classes on Thursdays and Sundays, and CBJ offers private Bar/Bat Mitzvah lessons. Our teens are incredibly active and play a vital role with programs from USY and Kadima in our community.

Our Mission and History
Welcome to Congregation B’nai Jeshurun, a vibrant and inclusive community of Conservative Jews committed to preserving and celebrating our rich heritage while embracing the diversity of modern Jewish life.
Our synagogue was founded in 1881. Since then, we have been dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming space for all members of the community to come together and connect through prayer, education, and social activities.
Our mission is to foster a community of committed Jews who are knowledgeable about their faith, dedicated to Torah study and observance, and motivated to participate in the moral and ethical issues of the day.
Our leadership is dynamic and robust. Rabbi Sam Kastel, our spiritual leader, brings a wealth of knowledge, wisdom and dedication to our community, and our dedicated board of trustees and staff work tirelessly to ensure that our synagogue is a welcoming and inclusive space for all.
We offer a variety of services, including weekly Shabbat services, and special holiday services. We also provide education for all ages, from our Hebrew school to adult education classes, as well as youth programs and community events.
We invite you to become a part of our community and to join us in our mission to create a vibrant and inclusive community. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or to schedule a visit. We look forward to getting to know you and welcoming you into our family.
