Our Hebrew School Principal, Rob Schweitzer
As Principal of CBJ Hebrew School, I am honored to lead this vibrant community. With over 35 years in public education—including a certification in Special Education—and more than 20 years as a Jewish music leader, I am thrilled to bring this dual passion to our school. My vision is to cultivate an inclusive environment where all students, with all abilities, can forge a lifelong love of Jewish learning and feel a deep connection to their heritage.
To bring this vision to life, our goal is to make Jewish traditions engaging and meaningful. We work to ensure every child feels confident in a synagogue, understands the meaning behind our beautiful prayers, and celebrates Shabbat and our holidays with joy. By building these skills, from leading parts of a service to reading and writing Hebrew, we help students develop a powerful sense of pride and belonging within their Jewish identity.
I look forward to meeting your family and sharing the gift of learning!
